About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician - Machine Operator to join our team at Butterball, LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and maintain all assigned equipment in assigned departments in conjunction with production needs.
  • Test machine condition before work begins, change overs, and shut down.
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual lubrication.
  • Ensure all guarding and safeties are in place and operational.
  • Troubleshoot and check for any problems and fix them immediately to prevent breakdowns.
  • Cross-train in other areas as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English required.
  • Meet qualification of job requirements to operate equipment.
  • Must have and maintain excellent attendance record.
  • Must have and maintain excellent disciplinary record.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger; handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
  • Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and taste or smell.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

  • Wet and/or humid.
  • Moving mechanical parts.
  • Extreme cold.
  • Electrical and/or vibration shock.
