Senior Business Unit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Unit Manager to lead the growth strategy for a business unit segment of the Andersen Division Windows & Doors. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business plans to achieve sales and margin targets, as well as driving innovation and growth initiatives to expand our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement business unit strategic plans to achieve goals and objectives
- Oversee budget, financial performance, and profitability of the business unit/team(s)
- Lead, mentor, and develop management team and staff within the business unit
- Ensure efficient and effective day-to-day operations, including process improvements and resource allocation
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust strategies accordingly
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Set business unit/team(s) performance metrics, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Develop and lead project plans, and ensure the business unit complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
- Strong strategic planning skills to set and achieve long-term business goals
- Deep understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Extensive knowledge of the industry in which the business unit operates, including market trends and competitive landscape
- Experience in managing day-to-day operations, optimizing processes, and improving efficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and influence stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex business challenges
- Commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
