LPN-Clinic - OUHC Sub-Specialty Clinic - Full Time

Ochsner Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in a sub-specialty clinic setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care to assigned patients, including administering IV therapy and performing various nursing tasks.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Current licensed practical nursing (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- IV therapy credentials (preferred).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good interpersonal and delegation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
