Job Overview

Role Summary

An established machine shop in Butler, PA is in search of a skilled mechanical assembler who possesses the ability to interpret micrometers and establish precise tolerances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints accurately and assemble components independently as per specifications.
  • Execute piping tasks, conduct micrometer measurements, and set tolerances to .001” when necessary.
  • Welding and fitting skills are advantageous.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical assembly or automotive mechanics.
  • Welding expertise is a beneficial asset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical school certification is preferred.
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and drug screening.
