Job Summary:

Multimatic Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including PM checks and procedures, to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Assist with setup and changeovers, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Conduct machine repair and die changeovers, utilizing your technical expertise to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Develop and implement effective machine setup procedures, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Perform machining tasks, such as grinding, turning, and milling, with precision and accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner.
  • Carry out procedures of the preventative maintenance program, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Schedule time, material, and equipment required to perform tasks, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Complete all necessary forms and reports, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards and expectations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance or production environment.
  • Strong technical skills, including mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights, as required.
