Arts Finance Cohort is on the lookout for an innovative Senior Lighting Specialist to enhance our team. In this pivotal position, you will oversee all lighting-related functions, including managing inventory, maintaining equipment, and stepping in as an electrician or lighting designer when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address all requests requiring an electrician or lighting designer expertise
- Support the inventory management of lighting apparatus
- Operate and sustain the technical resources of the organization
- Provide recommendations for lighting technology enhancements
Growth Opportunities:
- Acquire experience with audiovisual equipment
- Engage with advanced sound consoles and theatrical rigging systems
- Assist the Production Manager with various administrative tasks
Qualifications:
- At least one year of professional experience in theater or two years of relevant educational background
- Familiarity with EOS family control systems
- Dedication to safety protocols and best practices in theater
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Effective communication skills with stakeholders
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace
Work Schedule:
This role is part-time with a flexible timetable, including evenings and weekends based on production requirements. The expected commitment is 16 hours per week.
Compensation:
The starting hourly wage is $20.50, with potential for advancement. Recent graduates are welcome to consider this opportunity.
