Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time Caregiver to join our team at Stay Graceful. As a Caregiver, you will provide direct supervision and daily care to our clients in their home environment, implementing and maintaining a professional and caring relationship with all clients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct supervision and daily care to clients in their home environment.
  • Implement and maintain a professional and caring relationship with all clients, providing reliable care, limit setting, and boundaries.
  • Plan and participate in activities with clients as outlined in the care plan.
  • Attend and actively participate in weekly team meetings, group supervision, and complete in-service hours annually as required by state regulations.
  • Maintain a professional, courteous, and helpful relationship with clients' family and other primary social supporters.
  • Adhere to Stay Graceful Standard Operations Procedures and South Dakota State Regulations/Administrative Rules relating to home care.
  • Assure all clients, coworkers, and family members are treated equally and with respect.
  • Responsible for the quality of services and completion of necessary home care duties and related training, including CPR, First Aid, and life skills training.
  • Complete and/or assure completion of necessary documentation and reports by the workday.
  • Knowledgeable and reflect Stay Graceful Mission Statement, Core Values, and Vision Statement.
  • Meet the Stay Graceful Code of Conduct, Professionalism, and Ethics.
Requirements
  • No degree required; applicable experience in Human Services or a related field strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, including email, Word, and medical records.
  • Current South Dakota driver's license and proof of insurance required.
  • Cleared through the Division of Criminal Investigation.
Work Environment

Ability to perform duties as outlined above, including lifting 10-20 lbs. Continual standing and walking during shift. Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift. Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shifts.

Please note: Applicants who have been charged with a DUI within the past 5 years or have ever been charged with a violent crime or felony are ineligible for employment with Stay Graceful.
