We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Caregiver to join our team at Stay Graceful. As a key member of our care team, you will provide direct supervision and daily care to our clients in their home environment.
Responsibilities- Implement and maintain a professional and caring relationship with clients, providing reliable care, limit setting, and boundaries while demonstrating understanding of their needs.
- Plan and participate in activities with clients as outlined in the care plan.
- Attend and actively participate in weekly team meetings, group supervision, and complete in-service hours annually as required by state regulations.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and helpful relationship with clients' family and other primary social supporters.
- Adhere to Stay Graceful Standard Operations Procedures and South Dakota State Regulations/Administrative Rules relating to home care.
- Assure all clients, coworkers, and family members are treated equally and with respect.
- Responsible for the quality of services and completion of necessary home care duties and related training, including CPR, First Aid, and life skills.
- No degree required; applicable experience in Human Services or a related field strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, including email, Word, and medical records.
- Current South Dakota driver's license and proof of insurance required.
- Cleared through the Division of Criminal Investigation.
- Ability to perform duties as outlined, including lifting 10-20 lbs.
- Continual standing and walking during shift.
- Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
Please note that applicants with a DUI within the past 5 years or a history of violent crime or felony are ineligible for employment with Stay Graceful.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Day shift, Evening shift, Holidays, Morning shift, Night shift, Rotating weekends
Work Location: In person
