About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Specialist. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience, ensuring that every interaction is positive and memorable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, guiding customers through the sales process and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Conduct vehicle condition assessments, collecting and recording information to facilitate customer appraisals.
  • Check in and receive vehicles, complete daily scanning and reconciliation of vehicle inventory.
  • Perform cosmetic inspections, ensuring all vehicles meet CarMax Quality Standards.
  • Perform various administrative duties, including printing daily reports, maintaining transaction paperwork, and contacting finance companies.
  • Create service appointments and review repair order invoices for retail service work performed.

  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Display confidence in self, the product, and CarMax, with a focus on delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Ability to balance the needs of the customer and the business, making decisions that meet both needs.
