Russell Tobin & Associates is in search of a Mutual Fund Operations Specialist to join our esteemed client.
Role Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various account-related transactions, including the processing of new accounts, purchases, redemptions, exchanges, and ongoing account maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the processing of new account setups and manage transactions.
- Handle change requests efficiently to meet critical deadlines.
- Address inquiries from current and prospective shareholders via telephone, providing essential information regarding investment options and account balances.
- Initiate financial transactions and adjustments as per departmental guidelines.
- Calculate and execute precise share trades, determine dividend distributions, and reconcile account balances.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong ability to gather, interpret, and apply diverse client and fund information alongside regulatory standards.
- Proven capability to multitask in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with proficient mathematical and computer skills.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
Additional Required Skills:
- Experience in customer service roles.
- Background knowledge in financial investments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Edge (minimum 2-3 years of entry-level experience).
- Familiarity with Adobe PDF (entry to intermediate level).
Desirable Skills/Experience (not mandatory):
- Experience with TA2000 software.
- Familiarity with AWD (Imaging Program).
