We are seeking a skilled Host to join our team at Better Hospitality Group. As a Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting and Seating: Greet guests as they arrive and seat them in a timely manner.
  • Wait Time Management: Provide accurate wait time estimates and manage the waiting area to ensure a smooth experience.
  • Menu Provision: Offer menus and answer initial questions from guests.
  • Table Optimization: Optimize seating at different tables to ensure an even workload for wait staff.
  • Phone and Reservation Management: Answer phones and schedule reservations with large parties.
  • Opening and Closing Duties: Perform opening and closing duties as required.
  • Team Support: Assist fellow team members and other departments as needed to maintain positive working relationships.
Requirements
  • Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and colleagues.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with Toast ordering system is preferred but not required.
Physical Demands
  • Standing and Walking: Constant standing and walking for long periods of time.
Availability
  • Open Availability: Must be available to work open availability, including weekends and holidays.
