Requirements
  • Computer Proficiency: Possess computer proficiency skills, including the ability to learn multiple databases and EMRs.
  • Multi-Tasking: Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, speaking on the phone, searching databases, and typing simultaneously.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, and clients.
  • Adaptability: Exhibit the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, adapting to new situations and priorities.
  • Education and Experience: Hold a High School diploma or equivalency, with one year of experience as a Patient Advocate or an equivalency of training and experience combined.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid Programs: Possess considerable knowledge of Medicaid programs, including the Federal Marketplace and agency and community programs and services.
  • Mathematical Reasoning and Computational Skills: Demonstrate good mathematical reasoning and computational skills, with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret rules, regulations, and procedures.
