We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Equipment Operator to join our team at HPC-Industrial, a Clean Harbors company. As an Equipment Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and successful execution of industrial cleaning and environmental services across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a safety representative, responsible for implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures, both company-wide and customer-specific.
- Operate manual and automated hydro blasting equipment, as well as special equipment such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
- Examine surfaces cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer specifications.
- Perform general maintenance in the field, including loading and unloading hoses, and unloading vacuum trucks at dump sites.
- Provide support for liquid vacs, air machines, and jet rodders.
- Execute a 180-degree rotary motion of the cervical spine to allow complete movement of the head and neck.
- Hold and operate a double trigger hydro blast shotgun and other hydro blast equipment with both hands.
- Climb ladders and work from scaffolding and stationary platforms up to heights of 200 feet.
- Tolerate and function in confined spaces of a minimum of five (5) foot inside diameter.
- Hold the back thrust of 50lbs. on a straight 66" pipe for a minimum of one (1) hour.
- Be physically capable of using both negative pressure and air supplied respirators.
- Be clean shaven.
- Be able to wear protective clothing and/or equipment, including nomex coveralls, back belt, slickers, rubber boots, a fresh air breathing mask, and escape pack, and a hard hat.
- A competitive hourly wage of $25.00.
