Position Summary
The Patient Services Agent plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional support to members of Medicare and Medicaid, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction.Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming calls promptly and courteously, ideally within three rings.
- Conduct follow-up calls regarding primary care physician (PCP) appointments.
- Facilitate reminder calls to enhance appointment attendance.
- Assist patients in scheduling new PCP appointments as necessary.
- Contact patients about missed appointments to enhance service delivery and patient experience.
- Generate and submit No Shows Reports to the Director of Patient Services for review by upper management.
- Initiate welcome calls to assess satisfaction levels with Community Medical Group's services and health plans.
- Provide comprehensive assistance to patients, from verifying enrollment status to scheduling PCP appointments.
- Address any gaps in information or follow-up from brokers.
- Ensure that patients receive a tour of the facility during the enrollment process.
- Compile Daily Reports detailing the outcomes of call sessions.
- Verify the status of scheduled PCP appointments.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in customer service or a clinical environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications is necessary.
