Job Overview

Position Summary

The Patient Services Agent plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional support to members of Medicare and Medicaid, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Respond to incoming calls promptly and courteously, ideally within three rings.
  2. Conduct follow-up calls regarding primary care physician (PCP) appointments.
  3. Facilitate reminder calls to enhance appointment attendance.
  4. Assist patients in scheduling new PCP appointments as necessary.
  5. Contact patients about missed appointments to enhance service delivery and patient experience.
  6. Generate and submit No Shows Reports to the Director of Patient Services for review by upper management.
  7. Initiate welcome calls to assess satisfaction levels with Community Medical Group's services and health plans.
  8. Provide comprehensive assistance to patients, from verifying enrollment status to scheduling PCP appointments.
  9. Address any gaps in information or follow-up from brokers.
  10. Ensure that patients receive a tour of the facility during the enrollment process.
  11. Compile Daily Reports detailing the outcomes of call sessions.
  12. Verify the status of scheduled PCP appointments.
Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  2. Previous experience in customer service or a clinical environment is preferred.
  3. Proficiency in MS Office applications is necessary.
