Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Support Specialist to join our team at Care Resource. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communication and Patient Care: Maintain effective communication with patients, addressing their needs, expectations, and feedback in a timely and compassionate manner.
  • Administrative Support: Ensure proper patient identification, check-in, and preparation for medical examinations, as well as timely and accurate documentation in patient charts.
  • Clinical Support: Assist medical providers with medical procedures, testing, and documentation, including vital sign collection, phlebotomy, and preparation of specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to OSHA, Joint Commission, and other regulatory standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient needs, and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma required; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
  • Experience: Two years of related work experience, with a focus on medical support and patient care.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
