About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Houston, Texas. As an SLP with Soliant, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and make a meaningful impact on their lives.

 

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students from various age groups and backgrounds.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and effective care.
  • Monitor and report patient progress to stakeholders, including caregivers and administrators.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation as required by law and Soliant policies.

 

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
  • Active Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is highly preferred but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is a significant advantage, although not essential.
  • Knowledge of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is necessary for this role.

 

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement planning, and paid time off.
