Job Summary

The Charlotte Hornets are seeking a highly skilled Basketball Operations Data Scientist to join their analytics department. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced statistical models to analyze player and team performance, as well as creating visualizations to communicate insights.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing advanced statistical models to analyze player and team performance
  • Creating interactive dashboards to visualize key performance indicators
  • Collaborating with coaches and front office staff to develop data-driven strategies
  • Maintaining and improving existing data processes and user interfaces

We offer a competitive salary of $130,000 - $190,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
