Job Title

Data Scientist III - Algorithm Staff Scientist III

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist III to join our team at Chemring Sensors and Electronic Systems. As an Algorithm Staff Scientist III, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining detection and identification algorithms for our CSES technologies.

This is a challenging opportunity for a talented individual to work with multivariate data analysis, chemometrics, predictive modeling, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to drive innovation in our field.

About the Role
  • Design and develop advanced algorithms for data processing, predictive modeling, and chemometric statistical modeling
  • Analyze complex scientific data using techniques such as multivariate data analysis, artificial intelligence, and machine learning
  • Develop and maintain operational integrity of computational assets
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or related field (Ph.D. preferred)
  • U.S. Government Security Clearance commensurate with facility clearance
  • Expert-level knowledge of chemometrics, predictive analytics, machine learning, and/or data mining
  • Proficiency in R, Python, Java, and/or MATLAB programming/scripting

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
