Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

As a Personal Support Specialist, you will work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and preferences. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Preparing nutritious meals and snacks
  • Providing medication reminders and assistance with medication management
  • Accompanying clients to appointments and outings
  • Performing light housekeeping duties and assisting with laundry

In addition to your caregiving responsibilities, you will also be required to maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with our clinical team, and participate in ongoing training and education to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field (desired)
  • Current CPR certification (American Heart Association)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
