Job Overview

The role of Customer Service Manager is essential in overseeing the comprehensive customer support operations to meet and exceed strategic objectives.

This position demands a solid understanding of the Emergency Responder Equipment sector or the capability to acquire such knowledge. The Customer Service Manager collaborates closely with the Sales Team to foster enduring customer relationships. The ideal candidate will enhance their skills and knowledge to effectively support the heroes serving our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the customer service team, ensuring a smooth workflow aligned with customer needs.
  • Evaluate and oversee daily ERP transactions, emphasizing precision, promptness, and effective issue resolution.
  • Supervise interactions between customers and staff to guarantee consistently high-quality service.
  • Recruit, mentor, and train new team members, establishing performance benchmarks to ensure customer satisfaction and conducting evaluations to promote growth.
  • Maintain exceptional organizational and communication standards, including report generation, contract management, collaboration with sales on pricing strategies, and bid preparation.
  • Dedicate efforts to cultivate a positive and motivated workplace culture that reflects company values.
  • Manage resources and utilize tools effectively to achieve objectives while handling multiple tasks.
  • Contribute to operational excellence through ongoing team development with a strong emphasis on procedural efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support the company’s mission and goals.
Essential Competencies
  • Proficient in management techniques and methodologies.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to make confident, swift decisions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic ERP systems.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • At least one year of experience in a supervisory role or managing personnel is required.
Preferred Experience
  • Background in sales and operations.
  • Experience in accounting, warehousing, manufacturing, or retail sectors.
  • Familiarity with Box and other online tools.
