Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain service standards, floor leadership, and profitability of the business unit.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including decision-making, employee support, guest interaction, scheduling, payroll, and planning.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by enforcing sanitation standards and procedures.
  • Oversee disciplinary action related to employees and liaise with HR Director in making personnel decisions.
  • Review schedules and payroll, track employee performance, and provide excellent service to VIP guests.
  • Prepare and execute daily pre-shifts, review daily minutes from service, and create plans for growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-4+ years of relevant experience working as a General Manager or similar capacity in a high-volume upscale, fine dining restaurant or luxury restaurant.
  • Excellent financial acumen and ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Open availability and certification in NYC Food Protection License.
