Role Summary:
The Journeyman Estimator is a vital role within our organization, responsible for executing comprehensive estimating functions. This position requires a candidate who has undergone training as a Journeyman Estimator Apprentice or possesses equivalent education and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct field surveys and prepare necessary documentation such as right-of-way permits and conflict documents.
  • Assist in the preparation of district annual budgets as assigned.
  • Demonstrate an intermediate understanding of electrical theory and a thorough knowledge of construction specifications and electrical codes.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess:
  • A high school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Completion of an Estimator apprenticeship program or equivalent educational background.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical theory and operations, along with a detailed understanding of construction specifications and electrical codes.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in estimating roles.
  • At least two years of customer service experience.
  • Familiarity with the Electric Service Requirements Manual.
