About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Practice Manager of Operations to join our team at Hillsboro Dental Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strive towards mastery of the role by prioritizing and completing all necessary training and development programs.
  • Develop and pursue annual business goals and personal development objectives, focusing on technical, commitment, and leadership skills.
  • Ensure the goals and priorities of the dental team are achieved through effective leadership and collaboration.
  • Support the implementation of the Doctor Led, Hygiene Driven, Operations focus philosophy through regular meetings and communication.
  • Focus on prioritizing and planning efforts to support the dental team in achieving their professional goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the dental team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Partner with the dental team to identify and develop skills needed for open positions and select candidates that meet the requirements.
  • Successfully onboard new team members and provide ongoing support and training.

Minimum Qualifications
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of leadership experience in a professional office, hospitality, retail, banking, medical, or other relevant field.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
  • Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Trustworthiness and ability to maintain patient confidentiality and team ethics.
Preferred Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a dental or medical setting.
  • 1+ years of experience with insurance billing and accounts receivable.
  • Dentrix or other dental software experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year.
