Job Details

Benevolence Health Centers is currently looking for a dedicated Call Center Representative to fill a critical role. This position demands exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls, redirecting questions and messages to relevant staff or departments, and provide essential information to patients.
  • Offer assistance with appointment-related information for internal and external customers, including on-site presence at assigned locations.
  • Implement and maintain accurate provider templates as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Communicate with patients to confirm appointments and make any necessary changes.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility when required.
  • Prepare and distribute printed appointment schedules for the next day(s) to relevant departments and staff.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and handle patient information with care and discretion.
  • Support the Center's mission of delivering high-quality care and enhancing patient satisfaction.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned.

Key Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is a must.
  • Previous experience with multi-button telephones, computers, and other business equipment is necessary.
  • Learners must adapt to the Center's computer and telephone system within three months of hire.
  • Exceptional telephone and customer service relations skills are critical.

Compensation Package: The estimated annual salary range for this position is between $35,000 and $50,000, depending on experience.
