Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our team at Transparent Search Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our workplace and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Create and execute comprehensive safety programs aligned with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct Audits and Inspections: Regularly conduct audits and inspections to maintain a secure workplace and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Train and Empower Employees: Deliver engaging and customized safety training to employees, ensuring they are well-equipped to uphold safety protocols and standards.
  • ISO Compliance Expertise: Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of ISO standards (including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001). Conduct internal audits, prepare documentation, and liaise with external auditors to secure and maintain certifications.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute innovative ideas for enhancing safety and compliance initiatives through safety committee meetings.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience and Expertise: Proven experience in safety administration, ISO compliance, and exposure to environmental and quality standards.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of local, state, and federal safety regulations and ISO standards. Certifications like CSP, ASP, or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor are a plus.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and motivate employees.
