Job Summary

Cisco is seeking a highly skilled Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Mixed Signal Design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-speed analog and mixed-signal ICs for our optical communications products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, layout, measure, and productize ultra-deep sub-micron-based CMOS products.
  • Lead efforts for large blocks on complex chips, mentor team members, and track deliverables.
  • Participate in peer review of complex IC designs and provide solid design methodology from conception to production.
  • Collaborate with packaging and hardware design teams to ensure signal and power integrity specifications are met.

Requirements:

  • BSEE degree with 12+ years of experience or equivalent.
  • Design, simulation, and measurement of high-speed ICs in areas such as high-speed serial links, voltage regulators, high-performance output drivers, and phase-locked loops.
  • Experience with FinFET technology and high-frequency layout.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience with electrical transceiver applications.
  • Experience with design for manufacturability, laboratory validation, and software tools such as Cadence and Spectre.
