Join Our Team as a High-Performance Analog Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Analog Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer to join our team at Lumentum Operations LLC. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance analog mixed signal circuits for our optical and photonic products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and simulate transistor-level circuits using CMOS and SiGe technologies
  • Create production-ready circuit block schematics and run simulations using Cadence tools
  • Plan and supervise IC layout engineers for high-performance AMS layout techniques
  • Derive behavioral models for AMS circuits and deliver top-level verification needs
  • Participate in design reviews and create necessary design-related documents
  • Develop and drive test plans and collaborate with validation teams to complete the validation phase
  • Set and track IC-project schedules, internal DVT, qualification, and production test schedules
Requirements:
  • MS in Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, or Communication Systems
  • In-depth understanding of high-performance, high-speed analog mixed signal circuit IC designs, calibration, equalization, and signal integrity fundamentals
  • Direct hands-on industrial experience in high-speed optical integrated circuit architectures and block designs
  • Hands-on experience in full-cycle IC development and layout verifications
