Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. As a member of our Resource Pool, you will have the opportunity to work in various hospital specialties, including Women's Services, Labor and Delivery, Acute Care, and Intensive Care. This role offers a unique chance to gain experience in multiple areas, with potential for additional financial incentives.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement and evaluate care plans, utilizing evidence-based practice and coordination with other healthcare team members
  • Provide high-quality patient care, promoting a safe and supportive environment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • RNs with less than 12 months of experience as an RN prior to joining Intermountain must obtain their BSN within five years of their start date
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
Work Environment

This role is based in the Intermountain Health system, with opportunities to work in various locations, including Alta View Hospital, Intermountain Medical Center, LDS Hospital, Park City Hospital, Riverton Hospital, and TOSH. The successful candidate will be required to work variable shifts, including weekends, and may be expected to stand for extended periods.
