Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Ansible Government Solutions, LLC. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to perform a variety of complex sonographic examinations.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently operate equipment to perform sonographic examinations, including routine and highly specialized exams.
  • Review requisitions to ensure patient history and anatomical area of interest are consistent with requested exams.
  • Conduct neck, carotid artery, leg vein, and artery examinations, as well as assist Radiologists during invasive procedures.
  • Perform all types of gynecological ultrasound exams and quantitative Doppler measurements to determine blood flow profiles.
  • Have knowledge of appropriate use of color flow/power Doppler to evaluate areas for vascular patency/pattern.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid ARDMS license and required to be licensed in a minimum of two (2) out of the three (3) advanced disciplines.
  • Maintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) as certified by the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in diagnostic medical sonography.

Working Conditions:

Candidates must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift. They must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist, lift up to 20 lbs, carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance, and push/pull with 30 lbs of force.
