Job Summary

Saple inc is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound exams to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain patient clinical information from requesting physicians and prepare patients for imaging.
  • Prepare rooms and equipment for exams and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Demonstrate self-critique of exams and identify sub-optimal techniques and equipment malfunctions.
  • Meet physical requirements to perform diagnostic sonography studies in various settings.
  • Maintain RDMS credential(s) according to American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography's criteria.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a formal accredited ultrasound training program.
  • Must have flexibility in scheduling and ability to rotate shifts and cover weekends and holidays.
  • Requires ARDMS credentials in Abdomen and OB/Gyn specialties at minimum.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support certification.
  • Requires (2-5) years UCSF experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or equivalent experience in a similar Ultrasound department.

Skills and Certifications:

  • Require ARDMS in Abdominal and OB/Gyn Sonography.
  • Requires previous ultrasound experience.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Graduated from a CAHEEP accredited ultrasound program.
  • Requires (2-5) years UCSF experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, and or equivalent exp.
