About the Role

The Agency Asset Protection Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of Agency assets, employees, and residents. This position requires a high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time position (35 hours, 4 days/week) with a salary range of $52,000-$62,000. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required throughout employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all internal and external activities relating to the protection and security of Agency assets, employees, and residents.
  • Develop and implement effective security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of Agency assets, employees, and residents.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential safety hazards and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies to ensure a safe and secure environment for Agency staff and residents.
  • Manage and maintain emergency management and contingency plans and procedures for all developments.
  • Develop, implement and manage a preventative safety training program with consultation from current Agency providers.
  • Analyze and generate reports relating to internal losses or violations of Agency safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Provide support services to staff in situations that are deemed a potential danger.
  • Chair the HACD Safety Committee, hosting monthly committee meetings with rotating participants; strive to identify and resolve safety related problems in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security or related field preferred; applicable professional experience may be substituted for educational requirements at the sole discretion of HACD.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in safety, general law enforcement or a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required throughout employment.
  • Bilingual ability in Spanish preferred.
