Job Summary

Hydromax USA is seeking a skilled Utility Gas Technician - Crossbore Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our CCTV camera and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of sewer and wastewater utility lines to detect cross-bored lines and collect field data using ESRI GPS software.
  • Establish and maintain a safe work zone, including positioning safety items such as traffic cones and signs.
  • Prepare and maintain CCTV Robot and equipment under the direction of the Operator.
  • Dispatch the tractor unit securely into the pipe using a crane or hook.
  • Mark locations on the job site with utility marking paint.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
  • Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certification as required by project locations.
  • Ability to walk 2 to 5 miles or more per day on various terrain and in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to work with sewer and wastewater utility lines.
  • Lift 50+ pounds of equipment regularly throughout the day.
  • Proficient in using current technology such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
