This position is hosted by Jobot. We are seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Controls and Electrical Process Engineer.

Salary:
$100,000 - $120,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Electrical Engineering support and oversee the specification and implementation of equipment controls to enhance manufacturing performance.
- Develop and execute efficient, cost-effective processes and methods that align with product specifications, quality standards, and health/safety regulations.
- Propose and implement enhancements to production processes, methodologies, and controls.
- Design, develop, and test tools, machinery, and equipment for optimized manufacturing methods.
- Conduct research, design, and development of manufacturing processes, including production flow and assembly techniques.
- Maintain detailed layouts of facilities and equipment.
- Coordinate the launch of new or revised products, setting objectives, training team members, and assessing outcomes.
- Analyze products and processes for cost reduction, quality enhancement, and efficiency improvements.
- Create and implement preventative and predictive maintenance strategies to ensure equipment reliability.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems and devise solutions for recurring issues.
- Develop strategies to minimize energy consumption and intensity.
- Provide technical assistance to manufacturing teams and other engineers.
- Establish optimal control processes and methods in compliance with manufacturing requirements and safety standards.
- Design and test control system upgrades and maintain comprehensive policies for Process Control Systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading electrical and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.
- Experienced with Allen Bradley PLC controls and related software.
- Skilled in VFD, temperature control, and data recording.
- Familiar with equipment safety systems.
- Strong analytical skills for complex engineering systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor.
- Background in equipment reliability engineering and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
