Application Manager

We are seeking an experienced Application Manager to join our team at Finastra USA Corporation in Switzerland.
Responsibilities:- Oversee test activities of releases and projects, ensuring alignment with time and budget constraints.
- Leverage your deep understanding of solutions, applications, and technical environments.
- Utilize your hands-on experience with operating systems and servers.
- Manage and use multiple tools (both third-party and in-house) to ensure all applications are running correctly.
- Handle operations software-related tickets and resolve all associated issues.
- Collaborate with various teams across the company to solve issues in logistics operation, customer service application, financial, and messaging applications.
- Work with third-party vendors on technical issues and projects.
- Identify and report issues with orders, systems, or the logistics operation to product managers and tech teams.
- Provide technical support to clients and offer 24x7 on-call support.
- Triage and manage incidents, and write up incident reports.
- Thoroughly test applications to ensure the best quality of all projects and test deliveries.
- Configure special converters in the appropriate application.
- Create documents for internal departments such as Client Support and Projects.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other ServiceBureaus in the UK and USA.
- Act as an expert in customer and/or internal projects.
- Provide support in yearly ServiceBureau and customer-based audits.
- Build reporting/dashboards to help monitor catalog metrics.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- College degree in the field of computer science and/or equivalent work experience.
- Relevant experience in a similar role in a time-critical and service-oriented company.
- Good business understanding of interbank services such as SWIFT, SIC, or SECOM.
- Knowledge of SWIFT services like InterAct, FileAct, Browse.
- Expertise in Unix Operating System and coding/Scripting of Unix shell script.
- Basic know-how in network and database administrations.
- SAG know-how, Ingres Database knowledge, SQL.
- Basic Excel, SQL, Splunk, Python, Scripts, Github, JIRA knowledge is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server OS and knowledge of scripting.
- Very good knowledge of Red Hat Linux and scripting.
- Very good knowledge of JBoss and Tomcat.
- Working knowledge of databases such as Oracle, Ingres, and good in writing SQL queries for Oracle and/or Ingres.
- Working knowledge of FTP / SFTP/ WebSphere MQ integration.
- Good knowledge of VMwareESXi.
- Good understanding of Hybrid Cloud technologies and Azure.
