Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Co-Investments Associate to join our Private Equity direct co-investments team in New York. The successful candidate will support the team in performing analysis, conducting due diligence, and monitoring Capital Dynamics co-investments.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in direct investment selection, fund portfolio management, and reporting.
- Undertake due diligence on prospective investments, including financial statement analysis, sensitivity testing, and market assessments.
- Develop relationships with financial sponsors to source investment opportunities.
- Review transaction documentation and prepare closing certificates, valuation analyses, and periodic reports.
- Support fundraising efforts and attend general partner annual meetings.
- A bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution with a strong GPA.
- A minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in private equity or investment banking.
- Proven experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) due diligence process.
- Excellent financial modeling skills, including LBO and DCF analysis.
- Highly developed quantitative and writing skills.
- Sound investment judgment with a keen awareness of risk, return, and exposure management.
