About the Role

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled PACU Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of safe and high-quality healthcare.

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in ICU and cardiovascular nursing. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent, full-time experience in ICU RN and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the PACU setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
Qualifications
  • Current RN licensure in Texas or eligible for reciprocity
  • Minimum 2 years of recent, full-time ICU RN experience
  • PACU and cardiovascular nursing experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
