Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Perioperative Nursing Specialist to join our team at North Texas Surgery Center. This is a fast-paced environment that requires a top-performer RN with solid knowledge of Pre-operative and PACU Nursing.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will ensure the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. The RN cares for all ages from 1 month to geriatric under the direct supervision of the Manager of Perioperative Services. Key responsibilities include implementing physician orders, providing continuity and quality of nursing care, evaluating patient conditions, and ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • A Graduate degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing
  • At least 1 year experience as a RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit
  • Active RN license in the state
  • BLS certification
  • Current ACLS / PALS preferred or included in education plan
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year, based on industry standards and market conditions in the North Texas area.
