Job Overview

The Plumber will be responsible for installing and repairing plumbing systems, adhering to local and state codes. This includes potable water, sanitary water and vent, natural gas, and storm drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Layout pipe systems from drawings and specifications.
  • Install all plumbing systems, using approved job drawings and manufacturer's instructions.
  • Install lavatories, toilets, urinals, and cafeteria plumbing fixtures.
  • Install drinking fountains.
  • Install storm drainage systems.
  • Install sanitary sewer systems and potable water systems.
  • Ensure on-the-job safety and comply with federal, state, and local building codes.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of testing plumbing systems to identify leaks.
  • Familiarity with basic safety, ADA requirements, and state and local building/plumbing codes.
  • Able to install various piping systems, including PVC, ABC, no-hub, service weight, copper sweat, copper pro press systems, PEX pipe, and Victaulic piping systems.
  • Knowledge of city and national plumbing codes.
  • Able to read and comprehend design drawings.
  • Able to layout using approved job drawings.
  • Able to operate some types of plumbing equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Plumber's License.
  • 1 year as a commercial plumber.
  • 2 years as a residential plumber.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is USD $28.00 - USD $32.00 per hour, based on location and experience. Bernhard LLC offers a competitive benefits package and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
