Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to support project schedules, maintaining accurate records of procurement activities and supplier contracts.
  • Coordinate data inputs across activities to enable key reporting visibility and insights, providing training and guidance to employees as needed.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and change notices, resolving disputes and performing spot checks to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.

Requirements

  • Purchasing experience or bachelor's degree preferred, with 5-7 years' experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and knowledge.
  • Ability to effectively present information and communicate with all levels of management, possessing excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage time effectively.
  • Basic to complex spreadsheet comparisons of consumption pricing and transportation costs, with ability to solve problems and deal with complex variables.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form, with ability to calculate figures and amounts.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally at short notice, with a strong commitment to equal employment opportunity and diversity.
