Position Overview: We are currently in search of a Japanese-English Bilingual Office Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This is a Full-Time role that plays a crucial part in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate translations between Japanese and English, focusing on various forms of communication including business documents, routine correspondence, sales reports, and technical content.
  • Engage with bilingual staff and assist expatriates from Japan in their transition to the United States.
  • Offer general administrative support to the Executive Team, including travel arrangements and scheduling.
  • Manage special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient reading skills in Japanese for translating documents into English.
  • Intermediate writing skills in Japanese for translating English documents into Japanese.
  • Intermediate speaking skills in Japanese.
  • Excellent reading and writing skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal and employee relations abilities.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese are essential, along with a solid understanding of the MS Office Suite. The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is crucial.

Candidates should have completed a minimum of 2 years of college-level Japanese courses. We value a willingness to learn and enthusiasm for Japanese language and culture.
