Job Summary

Assemble and package mechanical parts with precision and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality products for shipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble basic expendable mechanical products with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Create sealing surfaces on spherical parts through lapping techniques.
  • Inspect products for mis-machined parts, damage, and other abnormalities.
  • Ensure all products are assembled using the correct components per bill of material.
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and organized condition.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities

  • Work safely with heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Develop skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and application.
  • Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the Drawworks area.
  • Understand production and FAT procedures to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure availability of materials on the assembly floor for capital builds.
  • Assemble and install electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic components.

Education and Experience Qualifications

  • Read and write in English with proficiency.
  • Five years of previous warehouse experience with a strong track record.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Requirements

  • Minimal travel requirements (less than 5%).
  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Exposure to loud noise and moving parts in the warehouse and shop floor environments.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions.

  • Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in the warehouse.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding and adherence to safety policies and procedures.

Technical Competencies

  • Operation of JIB and Overhead cranes with precision.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 45 pounds.
  • Use of office equipment, including copiers and scanners.
  • Proper use of Fall Protection Harness in high-risk areas.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
