Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate hazards
  • Collaborate with departmental management to administer employee safety programs
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain safety training programs for employees
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Participate in the development and implementation of emergency response plans
  • Provide input to management on safety-related issues and concerns

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree and/or certification in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a health and safety role, with 3+ years in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including OSHA and Cal/OSHA
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) language skills a plus
  • Valid California driver's license required

Compensation Range: $40.00/hour. Salary may vary based on experience.
