As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with corporate safety initiatives and managing the company's training and safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the company safety program from fixed branch, jobsite, and field locations.
  • Exercise, coach, and confirm field compliance with all corporate safety initiatives.
  • Manage and oversee the Mesa-wide Corporate Training and Safety Initiatives to advocate and drive employee engagement and participation.
  • Timely and accurate data entry for various EHS reports and reporting systems.
  • Ensure all work-related incidents/accidents are added to the company's log and initial notifications are saved to incident folders.
  • Update and maintain all Environmental, Safety, and Training documentation.
  • Maintain and expedite the communication of training deadline dates to ensure management receives information from direct reports.
  • Assist with safety training system updates, training materials, and maintaining and updating training records.
  • Provide backup support for the Learning Management System administrator.
  • Coordinate all Safety Team Meetings, document minutes, attendance, and keep postings up to date.
  • Facilitate communication between all Branches, departments, and shifts concerning safety issues.
  • Update, maintain, and track internal safety-related statistics.
  • Help drive employee engagement and participation as it relates to safety.
  • Perform general office duties and other related EHS duties as assigned.
  • Help develop quality metrics, resources, and perform data entry as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Ability to travel to jobsites and satellite offices as required, as well as occasional multi-day travel.
  • Associate degree or equivalent research or coursework on occupational health and safety.
  • 2 years of office experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of EH&S and/or Compliance Programs.
  • Experience in a multi-department administrative support role preferred.
  • Experience in administrative support with particular emphasis on organizing and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
