Job Title: Equipment Technician

Join a leading food production organization seeking a dedicated Equipment Technician to enhance our operations. This role is essential for maintaining our machinery and ensuring optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs on production machinery
  • Evaluate, test, and troubleshoot equipment, providing feedback to management
  • Install components and resolve electrical malfunctions on production systems
  • Program and configure automated production equipment
  • Execute preventive maintenance procedures and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety standards
  • Support production activities as required

Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in hydraulic systems, HVAC, welding, electrical work, and plumbing
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Basic math skills necessary for the role
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs and perform manual tasks
