Manufacturing Technician Responsibilities
- Master the safe and efficient operation of various processing equipment within our production facility.
- Develop a thorough understanding and application of established quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards in our products.
- Execute your responsibilities with precision and efficiency, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting specification documents and manuals related to equipment operation and maintenance.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance your skill set through training and on-the-job learning.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment that supports our shared goals.
- Adhere to all company rules and policies, upholding the highest ethical standards in your work.
- Adapt to various areas within the plant, demonstrating versatility and the ability to perform at expected levels across different roles.
- Receive technical direction from Maintenance staff while reporting directly to the Production Manager.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for machine operator adjustment requests, ensuring smooth and efficient equipment operation.
- Implement preventive maintenance measures during operation, including scheduled lubrication tasks, to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.
- Actively participate in daily team meetings focused on production schedules, anticipating timely changeovers across multiple packaging lines.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive standard operating procedures for equipment changeovers, ensuring consistency and efficiency in our processes.
- Optimize packaging equipment settings to maximize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), encompassing quality, performance, and availability.
- Maintain a detailed database of all equipment settings for each product, providing valuable reference material for training and operational purposes.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of job training programs for team members, fostering knowledge sharing and skill enhancement within the team.
- Develop and implement a standardized operator tool inventory system for each packaging line, ensuring efficient organization and accessibility of essential tools.
