Job Summary

As a Physician Administrator 2 SOCF, you will be responsible for administering treatment for behavioral health patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system. This role requires collaboration with intra and interdepartmental staff to ensure effective care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct exams and write evaluations and reports
  • Order and interpret diagnostic testing
  • Manage medication
  • Make referrals for specialized care or treatment
  • Perform duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews
  • Provide or share responsibilities of institutional 24-hour on-call as needed
  • Engage in collaborative agreements, as needed

Qualifications

Certificate to practice medicine in state of Ohio as issued by State Medical Board pursuant to Section 4731.14 & 4731.281 of Revised Code.
