Job Summary
Northside Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in Atlanta, committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the quality of our services. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients, adhering to Northside Hospital's philosophy, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, working under the direction of the registered nurse in an assigned clinical area.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and ensure the health and safety of patients.
- Contribute to the Licensed Practical Nurse – Nursing Excellence Track Program (L-NEXT) at Northside Hospital, with opportunities for career advancement through education and certification.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- 1 or more years of experience as an LPN.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a specialty area.
