About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business and client services in the Mechanical Contractors and Engineers market. You will manage a territory selling Refrigeration and HVAC services and agreements, with warm leads provided and some cold lead generation needed.

Your responsibilities will include initiating and coordinating with Project Managers and Superintendents on MEP projects, defining parameters of the project, and creating a design that meets these parameters. You will also use software to develop proposals or job bids that meet all technical requirements for the client while limiting the risk of cost overruns.

You will work with customers to provide estimates for projects involving heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, set and follow up on leads and referrals from current clients, and generate new business. You will need an understanding of MEP/HVAC equipment, system design, and BAS equipment, as well as proficient knowledge of energy and cost-saving strategies for HVAC Commercial and lighting systems to explain to clients.

You will develop relationships with multiple buying influencers in client organizations, qualify and target opportunities based on close customer knowledge, manage budgeting quotes, service agreements to support sales plans, and determine proposal pricing solutions and selling strategy. You will also review contract terms in compliance with Vendor Partners and company standards.

Requirements include 3+ years' experience in MEP/HVAC Sales, successful experience in the commercial HVAC industry, ability to present value-added propositions to key decision makers at target accounts, a book of business with HVAC/MEP clients, and a Bachelor's degree. You will need B2B Sales experience, with $5MM or more strong working knowledge of systems, equipment, components, and the ability to survey buildings.

Great attitude, technical knowledge, and customer service are essential, as well as proficiency with MS Office, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. A good driving record and license are also required. You should be enthusiastic to learn and work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving dynamic energy service field.

This is a full-time field position for mid-career sales professionals with advancement opportunities. Pay rate up to $60,000-$70,000K+ base, plus commissions and incentives up to $95,000K possible first year.
