Alternative Investments & Manager Selection (AIMS):

The AIMS Group specializes in identifying, researching, and selecting top-tier third-party investment managers. We provide clients with investment and advisory solutions across a spectrum of alternative investment strategies, including hedge funds, private equity, real estate, and public equity.

With a team of over 350 professionals across 11 global offices, AIMS supports both institutional and individual investors in program design, manager due diligence, portfolio construction, and risk management. Our extensive experience has enabled us to partner with many of the world’s leading alternative investment managers.

Currently, AIMS oversees a substantial portfolio exceeding $275 billion, encompassing a variety of customized and commingled fund solutions. Our offerings include globally diversified programs, sector-specific strategies, and a range of advisory services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage in portfolio liquidity management activities, including lifecycle analysis, liquidity modeling, and cash flow projections.
  • Collaborate with trading and allocation teams to develop liquidity and funding strategies for portfolio operations.
  • Optimize capital utilization across portfolios, managing investor-level capital calls and distributions.
  • Advise client teams on forthcoming investor capital activities across all portfolios.
  • Contribute to portfolio launches, restructurings, and rebalancing efforts.
  • Create analytical models and reports to support essential business functions.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives that enhance profitability, efficiency, and scalability across multiple functional areas.
  • Address ongoing and ad-hoc requests from various sectors within the AIMS organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in alternative investments or asset management.
  • A strong desire to deepen understanding of the AIMS investment processes and market strategies.
  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets and asset management.
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in market data applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Detail-oriented and highly motivated.
