Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary:
Vinfen is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Brain Injury Specialist. As an LPN, you will work in a small, comfortable residential setting, providing person-centered clinical care to individuals with brain injuries, intellectual and developmental disabilities, or other complex health needs. Your primary responsibility will be to assess each individual's physical health needs and provide skilled nursing interventions as indicated.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care and administer medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP) guidelines
- Assist individuals to become a part of their communities and help them overcome barriers to achieve a higher quality of life
- Communicate any change in status to appropriate individuals and perform individual assessments with any change of status
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current LPN license valid in Massachusetts
- 1-2 years supervised practical experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting preferred
- Experience working with people with brain injuries or behavioral conditions preferred
